Change Log

c. (August, 2006):
- My HTTP and FTP server's goes live. Hosted on a Windows XP SP2 Professional machine running IIS 5.1.
- Major HTML changes: Learned new HTML code and applied it to the site in various ways. WebDAV upload/edit added.
- ActivePerl 5.8.8.819 Installed. Hosting a CGI Proxy on it.

Update (October 11, 2006):
- I will not be registering in DNS because it would cost too much. Since my ISP is port blocking, I would have to add an extra service to forward the DNS name to port 88 and it's all more then I'm willing to pay.

Update (October 14, 2006):
- My HTTP and FTP server's have been successfully ported over to IIS 6.0. Both servers are now running on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition (x86).

Update (October 16, 2006):
- Secondary FTP server created on alternate port: TCP 11 here.

Update (October 17, 2006):
- This change log is created.
- First, documented, hacker. He was being malicious to my primary FTP server. You can see the excerpt from the server log here.
- MRX joins the FTP server and hosts a few files. A few other file changes to the FTP server.

Update (October 18, 2006):
- Added descriptions to the CGI Proxy options.
- Added background images to various pages on the site. Learned how to add background audio to HTML pages (not implemented).

Update (October 22, 2006):
- New files on the FTP server.
- Prepared two files, one on the FTP server and one on the HTTP server, to display information when the server is down. You can look at the HTTP file, if you wish, here.

Update (October 25, 2006):
- New files on the FTP server.
- A small hit counter is added to the main web page. The counter is undergoing testing because it's still a new concept for me. The counter is hosted by myself.

Update (October 26, 2006):
- Hit counter is still not functioning properly. I also wish to install a more advanced version with IP and/or cookie tracking in the future.
- New pages: Games and Tools. This is to accommodate the new addition to my website: Line Rider and to keep my site organized.
- PHP 5.1.6 is installed. I currently have a PHP Proxy that runs on it.

Update (October 27, 2006):
- Improved view ability of most pages on the site (text not easily readable with image background).
- Moved some things around to make it easier to upgrade in the future. Created a second, test, web site at: http://68.69.216.249:89
- Major organization of IIS 6.0 and files for future upgrades.

Update (November 1, 2006):
- Recovered from a series of server misfortunes. Water cooling pump died; got a replacement. Windows Server refused to stay stable; had to format.

Update (November 4, 2006):
- PHP 5.2.0 installed (updated version).

Update (November 5, 2006):
- Improved security.
- Shuffled around some files on hard disks for organization and easier backup.
- Added a personal folder for a friend of mine on the FTP server.

Update (November 9, 2006):
- Added a new page in the miscellaneous section: SIKids TV. Contains the funny flash movies from the SIKids TV page at SIKids.com.
- Fixed a few things in this error log.

Update (November 13, 2006):
- Added a new person to the FTP site. Just like my friend.
- Security changes.
- Added a script to the status bar of most pages on the site.

Update (November 14, 2006):
- More security changes.
- Dedicated and reliable file storage for users is fully established. If you would like some space to store things (within some storage space limitations), please contact me here.

Update (November 15, 2006):
- Added a new Line Rider: Jeep Flyer
- Updated all HTML page code. Fixes Firefox issue!

Update (November 16, 2006):
- Fooled around with secure connections and port aliases but decided on just another port alias of: TCP 443 (Non-Secure).

Update (November 17, 2006):
- Decided to pull the FTP and HTTP Servers. Not enough connection resources (internet connection not substantial to host a web site or FTP server).
- This looks to be the end of this great, learning experience.

Update (December 14, 2006):
- Continue to maintain small things with the web site files for a possible future use.
- Updated copyright.

Update (Febraury 17, 2007):
- Added a "DOCTYPE" to all web site pages (might fix some compatibility issues). I still don't pass W3C's validation service. Too much for me to handle.
- Change a few other things with the HTML page code.
- Added Line Rider Beta 2 (revision 6) to the games page.
- Unless I get a faster Internet connection, looks like this web site is going to stay down.
